Leonhardt Manufacturing is celebrating 50 years of excellence in manufacturing. As a world-class manufacturer, Leonhardt specializes in highly decorative tubular products and welded assemblies ranging from highly decorative motorcycle parts to off-road truck crane jibs. This milestone reinforces the company’s continued commitment to innovation and business growth in global manufacturing markets.
“Celebrating a 50-year milestone says a lot about the success of a company,” said Jason Jacobs, president/CEO. “We move into the future committed to the growth of our business and dedicated to the industries we serve by creating unique manufacturing solutions designed to reduce costs for its customers.”
Leonhardt started in a small Hanover apartment where a German tool and die maker was producing light covers for Westinghouse elevators in his kitchen. What started as a small, one-man business has grown into a multimillion-dollar company.
Leonhardt supplies such well-known companies as Harley-Davidson, Manitowoc Crane and Polaris Industries, the Minnesota maker of snowmobiles and other vehicles. In more recent years, Leonhardt has been getting into other industries as well, including commercial furniture, medical equipment, electric vehicles and industrial equipment.
All these products have very high cosmetic standards, whether they are chrome plated, powder coated or stainless steel. They not only have to be functional; they have to be beautiful as well.
“As we celebrate this important milestone, we appreciate the continued support of our loyal customers, suppliers, employees and investors who have made 50 successful years possible,” Jacobs said.
